This study aimed to design a translation test with its grading technique.  the study elaborates in detail the proposed test construction and its components.  Test items evaluate mainly five skills: comprehension/meaning, morpho-syntactic, style/register, collocation, and coherence/cohesion.  Targeted languages in the present study are English and Arabic
