Design Considerations of work chair elements

Abstract - Office work has its own requirements that differ from other works , It depends on  sitting  and stability in particular postures to perform specific tasks and Activities in a specific area and specific actions for a long time . Because the contemporary life impose this kind of work on us , health problems began to appear which weren_t found before . so, design of office chair is a hard challenge as his nature is different from the design of other types of chairs or other furniture . this difference could be in :-

-          The strong correlation between the work chair and the human body ,as work chair is a template that contains the human body and support it .

-          The length of the period of using the work chair and sit on it in certain postures in limited movement field . where workers are forced to sit on work chair most of their work time to perform work tasks.

This study determines the design Considerations of the work chair elements which is based on the human aspects associated with the human body and aspects related to the requirements of the tasks and the work environment And give the ability to design work chair can reduce harm of  long sitting and provide comfort to user, which in turn increase the production rates and improve the quality of performance.
