This review deals with the synthetic potentiality and utility of antipyrine and its derivatives in the synthesis of

4-substituted antipyrine and other heterocycles containing antipyrine moiety such as thiazole, pyrazolopyridines,

pyrazolopyrimidines, and pyrazolotriazines.
