The studied rocks include a variety of schists and gneisses pertaining to the geosynclinal metasediments  .  Regional metamorphism in the studied area produced a mineral assemblage belonging mainly to the greenschist facies, and locally to the abphibolite faciesthe thermobarometric conditions of metamorphism, indicated a temperature range from 543 to 583C, and a wide range of pressure from 1.89 to 9.99 kbar.
