Petrography and Geochemistry of Metavolcanics in the area West of Shekh Shadli, South Eastern Desert, Egypt.

The studied area is located west of Sheikh Shadli in the South Eastern Desert.  Four petrographic assemblages were observed.  starting with the oldest thesy are a) the ophiolitic assemblage, 2) the calc alkaline assemblage c) the molasse type sediments (Hammamat group ) and d) the late intrusives.
