Granitoid rocks in the Southern Sinai comprise mainly alkali feldspar granite and alkali feldspar quartz syenite.  The pertain to the GIII granites of the Eastern Desert.  Potash feldspars are orthoclase and perthite, which crystallize between 700 and 870C.

Opaque minerals are magnetite, ilmenite and titanomagnetite.  Magneetite is the abundant.  These minerals crystallize in a range of temperature from 970 to 698 C.  Crystallization of the opaque minerals started early, and continued to the final stages of crystallization of magma.
