The Effect of Different Footwork Training Patterns to Improve the Tactical Performance of Table Tennis Young Players

The aim of this study was to design a training program using different footwork training patterns to improve the tactical performance of young table tennis players. The researchers used the experimental method, through the experimental design of the experimental group using one tribal dimensional two measurements. Research Sample and Characteristics: The research community represents the junior players of the table tennis under (15 years) boys in the clubs of the Sahrkia region of table tennis and the (4) clubs (Sahrkia Club – El- Rwad Club – El- Seka Al- Haded Club - Ahly Faqus Club) with a total of (29) youth registered with the records of the Egyptian Association of table tennis and participants tournaments held during the season (2018/2019), was selected (6)  junior purposively sample from Sahrkia Club, was selected (5) junior random exploratory sample from El- Rwad Club and outside the research sample exploration. The most important results: Of current study indicate that, the improvement of different footwork patterns training improves the technical performance of skills, which favored the performance of some tactical tasks such as the performance of forehand and backhand that followed with top spin skill.
