Abstract:

Natural and mechanical properties change for knitted fabrics change several factors or variables is the thread yarns, spinning type, quality thread, along the length of the loop or stitch, structural installation ..... and so on.

This study has been conducted on different stitch length and its impact on some of the functional properties of fabrics single Jersey. And has been the production of samples of raw cotton from 30.40 English by Knitting machine circular weft of model PAOLO ORIZIO installed single jersey, and such as the number of rows and number of columns may have been the work of the laboratory tests for some properties in the unit of measurement, weight per square meter and the thickness cloth, explosion-resistant fabrics and dimensional stability and resistance to wear and tear, balling and others. And tests have shown that the length of the suture affect these properties. By increasing both the number of rows and number of columns and the weight per square meter and the thickness of cloth and integration coefficient less than the length of suture, while in other properties such as air permeability and fabrics prolapse increased with the increase stitch length.
