Tha Interelation between the Physical Properties of Different Types fabric Structures and Its Porosity

The pore structure of media particularly fibrous materials is complex and difficult to quantify. The permeability of fabric is higher at the high fabric porosity. Permeability is a strong function of fabric or yarn diameter for given fiber architecture (fiber orientation). The driving force of absorption is proportional of their fabric construction parameters in the form of performance maps. Studying fabric construction, specific weight and the Specific gravity parameters were found whenever these parameters increase, fabric volume fraction increases. Hence the absorption increases in consequences. Characteristics of Plain-Woven Fabric and the Same Construction of 4 wefts and 4 warps as such twill and satin have been researched in the present work. Spun yarn was used with two compromise type of fabrics as such cotton and blended cotton polyester.
